Why is the hourly rate base salary only?

Because it is the number you can check. Adding employer NI, pension, software and desk cost would raise the figure by roughly a fifth to a third depending on how you count, and every one of those assumptions would be ours rather than yours. The result understates the true cost, deliberately.

Does HireOS save all of that?

How it is worked out

Four multiplications and a division.

Recruiters × roles a month × applications a role gives CVs a month. Times minutes per CV, divided by sixty, gives hours. Times twelve gives the year.

The salary you typed, divided by a 46-week year at 37.5 hours, gives an hourly rate. Hours times rate is the figure. There is nothing else in it — no benchmark, no multiplier, no assumption of ours.
